<p dir="auto">I have setup and configured the gateway on my Raspberry Pi and tested the configuration with my Fire TV cube and it shows the cameras on the TV fine.</p>
<p dir="auto">On the Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen) however it tries to connect and after about 15 seconds says the camera is not responding. As the Fire TV cube is working I know the configuration is correct. I have the resolution set to 1280x720p which is the highest I believe the echo show supports.</p>
<p dir="auto">Can anyone advise what I may be doing wrong.</p>

Details of the setup are below. I have not changed any setting since the original working configuration except perhaps network passwords but that doesn’t seem to matter?</p>

<p dir="auto">I use Blue Iris and the link was pulled from the setting for the cameras but modified to get it to work YEARS ago… Link is rtsp://192.168.88.162:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&amp;subtype=1   Screenn shot of settings attached (the link that Blue Iris says for viewing is /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&amp;subtype=0&amp;unicast=true&amp;proto=Onvif. The confiration window is below</p>
<p dir="auto">Router sits bwehind a modem, IP address is the internal network</p>
<p dir="auto">Skill is enalbed in Alexa. I disabled and re-enabled with not issure. Email from amazon confirmed success. All Alexa divices use to work, now none do.</p>
<p dir="auto">ALL if my cams stopped working at the same time. At present, they work in Blue Iris and on my phone, so this confirms they’re on the local network</p>
<p dir="auto">Screen shot of Monocle settings below. All cams use use the same except name and IP</p>

Easy to setup and get going.   However with echo shows and what not it seems very sketchy.</p>
<p dir="auto">Do you have a complete table of Amazon devices that shows exactly what resolution, frame rate, container, they support.</p>
<p dir="auto">I’m using the latest echo show the big one.  Also tried the latest fire stick 4k.   None of my devices seem to play well with monocle/unifi for me.</p>

<p dir="auto">I have sucessfully set up my Reolink cameras with Monocle Gateway with my Echo Show 8 (3rd gen).</p>
<p dir="auto">However, it is not working with my Echo Show 5 (gen2). Looking at the logs for the gateway, I see the stream init, but there doesn’t appear to be any further communication directly from the alexa device itself to the gateway. I have confirmed this with tcpdump (no traffic). I have tried changing my echo device’s IP address by assigning a static DHCP lease (in case there was some weird IP issue going on) but this didn’t fix anything.</p>
<p dir="auto">Any ideas? All my devices/gateway are on the same VLAN. I have created a static DNS entry for the <a href="http://mproxy.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">mproxy.io</a> domain.</p>

<li>Enter chosen usename.</li>
<li>Auto generates a new password(?)</li>
<li>Error message saying ‘Server requires registration on website’.</li>
<li>Register on website.</li>
<li>Says username is invalid if I include the @<em><strong>, if I don’t include the @</strong></em> part I get the error message ‘Server requires registration on website’.</li>

Quite new here, I did some digging, but could not find solution to the issue.<br />
I have installed the gateway on a proxmox VM with Ubuntu.<br />
I can successfully view UniFi G4 Doorbell and two Dahua cameras each separately on the Alexa device.<br />
However when I ask Alexa (model show 10’ - motorized) to show all cameras or a group of cameras, the windows with camera names open and after 30 sec I get a reply that the camera isn’t responding.<br />
I have a few cameras linked with Imou skill that have no issues being shown in a group. If I combined Imou with Monocle in a group, Imou show up and Moncole stay as 3 dots (loading).<br />
I tried to combine each camera separately (with or without sound tags) to isolate if the problem is with one of the cameras, but no success - all of monocle cameras cannot be shown in a group.</p>

I own three Jidetech P10-4x-5MP cameras. These three cameras bring me to the brink of despair. I haven’t been able to get a live image on my Echo Shows yet. I’ve already tried everything from deactivating and reactivating the skill on Amazon, as well as changing the camera settings on <a href="http://Monoclecam.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">Monoclecam.com</a>. Also read the FAQ and tips. Nothing has been successful so far. I always get the message “The camera is not responding” from the Echo Show. I hope you can help me. I uploaded the trace from the monocle gateway and a picture of the settings. Maybe you can find the error and help me. Thank you in advance. Many greetings, Meigel</p>

Unifi Cameras suddenly stopped responding to Alexa. I suspect it has to do with the latest version of Unifi Protect. Some times i get an inbound connection and sometimes i do not, but the end result is always the same, the video doesnt load. ive tried changing the rtsp stream resolution but with no change in results.</p>
