My setup:-<br />
Router - Asus RT-AC86U running Merlin firmware<br />
1 camera - CTronics 1080PTZ<br />
No DVR or NVR<br />
Raspberry Pi4 running Monocle Gateway<br />
Trying to view on a Sony TV via a FireTV 4k stick</p>
<p dir="auto"><strong>Dashboard:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669236380131-1-dashboard.png" alt="1-Dashboard.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="556" height="386" /><br />
(Not sure why the time displayed against “Last Viewed” is showing as Eastern Standard Time? Camera, Raspberry Pi and router are all synchronised to GMT)<br />
<strong>Camera feed:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669236411357-2-camera-feed.jpg" alt="2-Camera-feed.jpg" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="628" height="769" /><br />
<strong>Stream properties:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669236445028-3-stream-properties.png" alt="3-Stream properties.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="597" height="449" /><br />
<strong>Monocle Gateway:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669236846896-4-monacle-gateway.png" alt="4-Monacle-gateway.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="709" height="688" /><br />
<strong>Response to the “show me” request to Alexa:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669236958214-4a-stream.png" alt="4a-Stream.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="602" height="661" /><br />
<strong>nslookups carried on the Pi and another PC on the LAN:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669237003172-5-nslookup.png" alt="5-nslookup.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="625" height="336" /><br />
<strong>dnsmasq.conf file from the router:-</strong><img src="/assets/uploads/files/1669237042251-6-dnsmasq.conf.png" alt="6-dnsmasq.conf.png" class=" img-responsive img-markdown" width="657" height="968" /><br />
I added the last line by virtue of following advice from another post relating to ‘binding’, but I freely admit I really don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to DNS binding, re-binding, etc.<br />
Any suggestions?</p>

<p dir="auto">Leave the WAN settings as is per your ISP.</p>

OK, so on the NAT Type setting there is the full cone option. It was on Symmetric so I changed it to full cone but Alexa still comes back with the Hmm, camera not responding.</p>
<p dir="auto">Looking at the results from the nslookups carried out on the Raspberry PI and LAN PC, does that appear to be correct?</p>

<p dir="auto">Ok, so I have 6 options on WAN Type - Automatic IP, Static IP, PPoE, PPTP, L2TP and v6plus. I understand my ISP applies dynamic IP addresses upon connection so I am reluctant to alter this from its current setting of Automatic IP?</p>

<p dir="auto">In router now and looking at an Asus ZenWiFi AX. I see a setting called Internet connection ==&gt; wan type ==&gt; symmetric or full cone…try to set this to full cone (guessing this is hairpinning)…and ping address…</p>

<p dir="auto">I cannot edit my post.</p>
<p dir="auto">I have access now to similar router. Here is what I have configured in my PFSense box:</p>
<p dir="auto">PFSense ==&gt; Services ==&gt; DNS Resolver ==&gt; General settings ==&gt;</p>
<p dir="auto">Custom Options:</p>
<pre><code>server:
private-domain: "5fe9299d-xxxx.mproxy.io"
local-zone: "home.by.me" static

server:include: /var/unbound/pfb_dnsbl.*conf
</code></pre>
<p dir="auto">Enable hair pinning on your router and then ping the “<a href="http://5fe9299d-xxxx.mproxy.io" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">5fe9299d-xxxx.mproxy.io</a>”. Yours is a JPG image so I could not replicate it.</p>
<p dir="auto">Looking to see if your router has similar options.</p>

In the router I’m using the firewall part of the Merlin firmware. I haven’t made any changes to it in relation to port 443. I had the impression that because everything is LAN-side there was no need to open 443 to the internet?</p>

<p dir="auto">What firewall are you using?</p>
<p dir="auto">Here in my PFSense DNS resolver settings have installed the FQDN.</p>
<p dir="auto">Ping it from a command line to test.</p>
<p dir="auto">I am not too familiar with your Asus router. I did just recently set up an OpenVPN server on one.</p>
<p dir="auto">Looking at what settings you have.</p>
