      In my opinion is Monoclecam dead, because Roberts last Login was 23.October 2024 ! What a pitty

        @flynmoose Thank you for the information. I setup docker/scrypted on my RASPI 4 and got it working with little effort. It seems to work well in my testing so far. It even let’s alexa display a group of cameras at a time unlike the monocle skill. I’m pretty pleased.

        I guess this is the end of my run with MonocleCam. It was pretty good while it lasted and I appreciate the development work up to this point.

        Thanks again for sharing your experience with scrypted!

          @ifloyd How much does it cost? Scrypted I mean?

            @slime-uk in order to achieve the same functionality as monoclecam, nothing. There is a paid version that includes more features and is geared towards full NVR functionality.

              Yes what a shame - a good run though. Seems we all need to find a replacement. Thanks to all involved in Monocle over the years.

                @ifloyd I have been at this a few days and it doesn’t appear to be a straight forward to accomplish as led to believe here. I am a systems engineer by trade, but can’t seem to get this working. Can you include a link or post your instructions to get this working? I am using Unifi Cameras and I installed Scrypted on a Windows 11 box. I was able to get the cameras in scripted, but when trying to enable the app in the alexa app, it is asking for a scripted cloud login and I did the trail version, which I believe was only for the NVR and even that never worked. Thoughts?

                  @BulldogBorn worked for me just following the Scrypted instructions. You need to enable the Scrypted skill in Alexa and link with the free Scrypted account you created in Scrypted cloud.

                    @BulldogBorn

                    I couldn’t get it working either, I’ve a similar background to you, been in IT 40 years in various roles.

                    Alexa integration, won’t work for me either, I do have the cameras in scrypted

                    It’s not really intuitive to my old brain!!
