Thanks! Good to know that it only requires @tunnel. One note, there is a small change coming in version 0.0.4 to the @tunnel implementation. If it stops working once 0.0.4 is released and you have upgraded to 0.0.4 – just let us know.

Had to dive into the guides to find out that the gateway is needed to use Tags!
Since I have “some” PI3´s running, it just took minutes to get my Doorstation (VTO2000a) running:
rtsp://192.168.1.200:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0 (using the High res Stream) + @tunnel

I use 800*600 while the cam only gives 800**480; Authentication is “digest”

Yes, the GUI will accept space or comma delimited tags and after saving, it may read them back from the database in a different order. The order has no significance on its operation, so it should be fine :-)

On most Dahua cameras you can also shorten the RTSP URL to:

rtsp://192.168.xxx.xxx:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0

how did you configured the cam? h.264 h.264b or h.264h ?

I found the solution: it was due to the dns was dns rebinding .
the dns on my notebook was different from the one obtained from show 5.
I assigned a static ip and dns to show 5 and now it works!

this is approximately half of log of this camera attempt, the full log of this “Attempt” for this camera was very long , if compared with the previous log of the camera that works, it was like 3-4 times longer, probably (as you said) the camera does many attempts …i will post the rest of the log, and try also to “play” with the video codecs like you suggested me!
