    Dericam S1 & Echo Show 5/8 Only Works Occasionally

      Address/format works fine in VLC and also works VERY occasionally with Monocle and my Echo Show 5s and 8s with the aid of the Monocle gateway (didn’t work at all without the gateway).

      But 99 times out of 100 the Echo Shows respond with “the camera is not responding” and with a flickering display. I have no issues with this camera in my main CCTV setup.

      Using rtsp://192.168.0.249:554/11 with DIGEST authentication and H264.

      Any ideas?

        Update:

        I switched to using @proxy and @hangup and this now connects each time (takes around 10-15s which I can live with).

        But… the video stream often becomes garbled (flickering lines and pink/grey/green screens). This happens with my Foscam cameras in addition to the Dericam S1.
