      Reference information:

xn--HIKVISION OEM DOORBELL (RCA, EZVIZ, LAVIEW, NELLYS, LTS) 101-gf61buya

Here removed my Ring Doorbell and purchased the Nelly’s version of the Hikvision OEM doorbell a few months ago. It is working well.

I have it integrated today with Zoneminder and my Leviton Omni Pro 2 Omnitouch screens. It is working well.

Also with Homeseer / Homeseer Touch screens and Home Assistant.

      Just wanting Amazon Show integration.

The EZVIZ version of the doorbell camera is on sale on Amazon (US) for $99 USD.
It was on sale for $89 USD a few weeks back.

I have disabled it for cloud use / mobile phone app use today and remote connect to the camera via VPN. Camera connected to Zoneminder just fine.

A few months ago installed Monocle and got it working fine with two test HikVision IP cameras.

Trying then to connect it to my Amazon Show via Monocle I had no luck. Tried it again and still not working for me.

The RTSP streams that I have tested are: (you can set primary stream but not set secondary stream via the HikVision batch configuration program).

      Tested Primary stream resolutions of:
      2048X1536 (default)
      1280X960
      1024X768
      800X600
      Secondary stream:
352X240 * Fixed and not adjustable.

I have read that there is something being added to the RTSP stream for cloud use which is disabling the use of the Monocle gateway.

I am will here to open the camera up IP to IP to the Monocle folks for testing

      or

sending a new one with updated firmware to test across the pond as a donation to th e plugin authors.

I also have a RCA version of this doorbell that I would love to use with Monocle, but running into the same issues. I’m trying to get it to show up on the Echo Show 5 using the Gateway running on Windows 10. I can see the requests come through from the Echo, but then it just says that the camera is not responding. The output from the service seem to indicate that the connection was successful and no errors are reported. I would be happy to send any logs if that could help resolve the problems.

There have been reported issues relating to the RCA version of the camera / firmware on the IPCam talk forum. The issue is bricking the camera while updating the currently sold camera with RCA firmware. So this is a caution message relating to the RCA version of the doorbell camera.
