Monocle gateway to run on android?

Any chance the gateway could run as a service on Android? This would be great (for the user) low cost sever if I could repurpose and old phone for this and leave it in the network cabinet.

( I already do this with MikeP’s automation manager and is pretty solid)

There is no current method for Monocle Gateway to run as a service on Android.
I’m sure it could be made to work, but there are expansion plans that may be limiting on Android as a platform. There are also some compiled binaries that would need to be thoroughly tested and vetted on Android. We will consider this platform, but you may be better off using a Raspberry Pi or similar embedded system running a pure Linux distro for the time being.
