    Monoclecam stopped working on 05/29/2020 [SOLVED]

      Hi!
      I am using monocle cam for my Alexa Show and three Samsung Smartcam’s. It worked for more than a year until the 05/29/2020. All three cam’s stopped working and i just got the message that my selected camera is not responding. Is there anything changed?

      I didn’t use the monocle gateway. VLC Player still show the live stream, the app from samsung/wisecam works.

        Same thing for me but different brand cameras. I think the last time this happened it was an SSL certificate expiration. Maybe a similar problem on their website this time.

          Can you please try it now. I believe we have found the final issue that was preventing the system working for some users.

            It was an SSL certificate issue, but not directly our certificates. Ours are valid but the root certificate in the chain expired at the end of May and the Alexa services and devices apparently do not support the cross-chain ability to cross-validate the still valid certificates. We have issued a new certificate to our servers that explicitly replace expired root in the chain.
