Works in VLC - Not responding in alexa

So ive got the stream working fine in VLC, on a laptop on the local network and the camera is on the local network too but when i add the same URL to monocle i get camera not responding from alexa when i ask it to show the camera, also i cannot discover the camera in alexa either, any advice on this one ?
