hilook dvr not showing

Hi all I have hilook dvr (made by hikvision) with 3x analog cameras connected. But its not letting me show the rtsp streams on echo show 8 or fire tv cube.
the rtsp stream works fine in vlc.
I’m running the gateway service and tried all the usual settings…h264 stream, under 1080p, changed rtsp ports, used simple passwords, tried all the @parameters.
However, i have 3x hikvision ip cameras and they connect fine.
anyideas?

Hi look is total junk sorry. I had battled their cameras and nvrs a few times before and never ended up with what I wanted. They are definitely a reskinned Hik camera. Just seems the software side is really lacking… ONVIF is a total lie from hilook. Cannot get their cameras to even work on a Hik NVR.
Long story short throw them out and get some hik cameras. There will be some obscure reason as to why they won’t work. -
