      Hello Community,
Do I need the Monocle Gateway for the following cameras?

      Manufacturer:Geovision
      Model:GV-ADR2702
      Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
      Video resolution: 1280x720
      Frame rate: 25
      Manufacturer:
      GeovisionModel:
      GV-ADR2702
      Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
      Video resolution: 1920x1080
      Frame rate: 25

I called up the URL in the VLC player:
      rtsp://xxx:[email protected]:443/media/video2
      Here the stream is running.
I have also tested calling up the stream directly, VLC then asks for the access data. Also worked

I read in a forum that the stream is only played via port 443 on Alexa Show 8. This does not work either.

Unfortunately, I have no way of running the gateway on a server/computer.

When I call up this URL, which was shown to me in the log files at Monocle … I also don’t get a call via the VLC.

      rtsp://proxy.monoclecam.com:443/9f8eddd7-c8d1-465e-b10c-xxxxxxx

Have I forgotten something? What else can I test?

Do I have to enter something when @tagging? The tags currently say @tunnel

      Glad about support!

      Many greetings

      Marc

          @MOB

The Echo Show 8 will require the use of Monocle Gateway running locally inside your network. Also the @tunnel tag is only used with the Monocle Gateway.

I can’t speak to the compatibility of this specific camera, but if you don’t have the ability to run the gateway, then using Monocle is probably a NO-GO in your situation.

          Thanks, Robert
