Stopped working after setting up named for DNS

I decided to setup named for my home network DNS. This stopped working after setting it up. I did see the troubleshooting tip about the DNS rebinding and took the FQDN in the logs and created a CNAME pointing to the gateway. What else am I missing? As far as the log goes, it starts up fine, but I never see any traffic to it. I’ve confirmed I can ping the cname and do a nslookup. Both work correctly. What else could I be missing?
