    Very mixed success with cameras (Amcrest) [PENDING]

      I’m setup with Echo Show 5 and Echo Show (2nd gen) 10inch. All my cameras I can access via VLC RTSP just fine.

      With Echo (2nd Gen) - my IPM-751, IP2M-841B, and IPM-HX1B all work without the gateway BUT they WILL NOT work on the Echo Show 5.
      With Echo Show 5 - Those same cameras work through the gateway with @tunnel. BUT they WILL NOT work on the 2nd Gen through the gateway.
      To get around this I have two cameras configured in my profile - 1 with Tunnel, 1 without. Kind of annoying

      My IPM3-943 bullet cameras though I can only get working on the Show (2nd Gen) using the gateway with @tunnel. They fail to connect with the Echo Show 5.

      I have tried all the options (@tunnel, @proxy, @proxy-tcp). The logs don’t seem to show any errors. All looks like it works but the stream fails to show on the Echo device and does a couple retries. You can see the retries in the logs but again, nothing appears to be an error or indicative of what is the issue.
      Any other ideas on what to try with the bullets is appreciated. If anyone understands the different between Echo Show 5 and 2nd Gen that would allow me to get to a single configuration that would also be appreciated.

        Let start on this and just focus on the one camera: IP2M-841B. I have this same model as well as both an Echo Show (Gen 2) and Echo 5. I certainly have my IP2M-841B working (via the Monocle Gateway) on both Echo devices (as well as FireTVs and other Echo models) .

          I wonder if the audio frequency makes any difference. I seem to recall that I had buffering issues on these cameras until I lowered the audio codec frequency.
