a Show 8 ?
The Monocle Gateway is a small service/application that you run on your own hardware inside your private network to facilitate the newer security requirements imposted by the Alexa system for camera streams. This service helps keep all your video and audio data private inside your network and not stream over the Internet. Monocle Gateway is required for Echo Show 8. Echo Show 8 also is limited to camera streams with a resolution of 1080P or lower. So you may have to make sure you camera is configured to stream at 1080P or lower.
Monocle and Monocle Gateway do work with most Hikvision cameras. There are some specialty Hikvision cameras such as doorbell cameras that we have not been able to get it to work with reliably.

can you suggest me any preferred hardware?

To start with I would just install it and get it working on some existing computer you have available and can easily access to test with (desktop/laptop). Once it’s all working and you are happy with the overall system, you could optionally move it to a Raspberry Pi device and dedicate it to that purpose. In the end it must be running 24x7 or at least whenever you would expect to ask Alexa for a camera stream. It can run on an embedded ARM device like the Raspberry Pi or it can run on any other computer you have around running Windows, OSX or Linux.
Thanks, Robert
