Unifi Cams wont work with Alexa since today
-
since version 006 my set up works fine, but not for today
nothing was changed from my side, now always " cam not responding"
i tried server restart, in alexa app new skill registration, Restart Alexa themselves
anybody else with such an behavior ?

I also have version 0.0.6 and am seeing the same behavior, starting sometime yesterday. After a monocle gateway container restart, I am seeing this entry repeated 3x in the logs after making one request to view a cam – nevermind I can’t paste my log entries without the post being flagged as potential spam.

I think it’s an SSL certificate issue on the backend. I’ll look into it and should have it resolved sometime tomorrow.
Thanks, Robert

Hi Robert,
Problem solved ?

I have updated the SSL certificates. One had expired causing the issue. However, thus far, Amazon Alexa does not seem to be accepting the new certificate (which I have verified to be valid). Perhaps she is caching the old certificate and needs a little time to update any old cache. I think this happened last time as well, it took a day or two for Amazon to start accepting a new certificate. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it will start working again soon.
Thanks, Robert

@Monocle it started working sometime earlier today. I tested at approximately at 2:30pm cdt. I hadn’t restarted the echo or anything else today. Thanks for the super fast fix!
