Monocle-gateway no inbound connections
-
I’m running monocle-gateway on 64 bit PI OS. I’ve tried @proxy @tunnel @proxy-tcp @no-audio, @fake-fmtp, etc, etc. I can’t get an incoming connection in the log. I can ping the FQDN address from the tail, so I think the gateway can be reached from outside. The ASUS router doesn’t have DNS rebinding. Digest and Basic… Restarted the gateway. Nothing is on 443.
Alexa Show 8 3rd Generation. The socket opens and immediately closes. Tried with 3 different HIKVISION cameras. From the tail:
ATTENTION -> Next you should see log statements showing your camera
establishing an inbound connection to this gateway instance via:-> DNS URL: rtsp://a858ab9a-b1a6-47f0-b33a-c8909c6bd8ae.mproxy.io:443/STREAM:1ff0757f-637d-4a95-948c-21bac15e34b8
-> This DNS host address should resolve to: 192.168.123.45:443 on your network.
NOTE: If you don’t receive any inbound connection log statements,

I tested it via VLC:
Your input can’t be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL ‘rtsp://a858ab9a-b1a6-47f0-b33a-c8909c6bd8ae.mproxy.io:443/STREAM:1ff0757f-637d-4a95-948c-21bac15e34b8’. Check the log for details. -
@bocadano I finally used Synology docker to get it to work.
