Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A

Hi im having a few problems with viewing my hikvision cameras on a new Echo Show 5

I can view all of the streams through VLC without any issues but when I try with Alexa it just hangs and states camera cannot be found. I can also see activity on the portal for the cameras.

I have the latest firmware in all cameras and NVR and have changed settings i.e bit rate etc in settings but still fails.

Tag may be optional… but in this case its quite important @tunnel (cos you will have to use the monocle server either on a pc or raspberry pie using camera port 554

Anddddddd… I found I had ‘better’ streaming by using each camera rtsp stream directly from the cameras rather than the nvr, but YMMV.

Also not sure about the ‘All Cameras’ feed either
