If anyone is interested, I use the HDMI output of my security camera NVR into one of these:

Which works well with monocle, call it “the cameras” then i can tell alexa “show me the cameras” and i get the 16 camera view of all of my cameras on the normal grid… Or i can say “show me the driveway camera” and connect directly to that camera to show only that one. Other uses would be if you had an analog camera system (coax) where the DVR has an HDMI output, you could view those on FireTv/Alexa devices using monocle too! Or any video for that matter.

So do you then configured the output of the “mulit-caster” as an RSTP feed in monocle like the other cameras?

I can confirm I have also conducted limited testing with this H.264 encoder device and it worked for me too.
