      Hi Guys

      I’m trying to stream the above camera to my Firestick v2, so I have installed the Gateway service and fired this up…all seems good on the gateway server pasted below

      OS/ARCH   = win32\x64
      PROCESS   = monocle-gateway (PID=5708)
      TIMESTAMP = 2020-01-18T23:52:04.335Z

        Based on the log info, the Alexa device is not establishing a connection to the gateway. This could be a DNS REBINDING issue where your DNS provider or router is not allowing the DNS to resolve properly to the local private address of your gateway.

        On another computer (preferably not the one running the gateway), please try pinging this DNS.

        ping b31910dc-59ce-4d92-9471-9a8d6a9d3a2f.mproxy.io

        It should resolve to the IP address of your gateway (192.168.0.7).

        If it fails to resolve this address, then its most likely a DNS rebinding issue.

        Thanks, Robert

          Amazing thank you that was it both Foscam cameras are now working like a dream :) …although I couldn’t find a way to add a DNS exception on my router, so instead I specified Googles DNS servers instead of my own Plusnet DNS servers on the router and this fixed the issue…so was it Plusnet doing the blocking rather then my router which is an Asus ?

            Interesting … first time anyone on this forum (to my knowledge) has confirmed that their ISP provider’s DNS is blocking the unique hostname. Thanks for reporting this and I’m glad you were able to get it fully up and working now.

            Thanks, Robert
