Echo Spot (Good) - Echo Show 8 (Bad) [DUPLICATE]

I posted a similar thread in UniFi forum, but here’s the story.
I am an early adopter of this service and had a pair of Echo Spot (the round) devices.
This Christmas I “upgraded” to the Echo Show 8 (rectangle) devices.I noticed that my Monocle feeds no longer worked.
Suspecting it was a configuration issue, I readded and reset a variety of things to no aval.
Alexa responds “The camera feed isn’t responding”.Just out of curiosity, I fired back up my Echo Spot I still had laying around and everything works just fine.
So…
Anyone have any insight to this?

Basically, the Echo Show 5 & 8 now require using the Monocle Gateway software whereas the older original Echo Show and Echo Spot did not.
