I have one camera that do to mounting issues is mounted upside down. All of the software I have allows me to flip the image to the correct orientation. I can not find the setting in Monocle. So Alexa shows the image inverted. Is there a setting for this?

      Thank you

Should be done on the camera or nvr firmware.
The rtsp stream is direct from the camera or nvr with its settings applied. You may need to rotate the lens if you cannot flip it via software. Sometimes flipping it can result in a mirror effect…

No, Monocle does not manipulate or do anything else with the actual stream data … its a direct pass thru from the camera to the Alexa device. The Alexa camera/streaming APIs don’t provide any orientation nor any other image manipulation either. So like @FineSir mentioned, this is typically an option in the IP camera’s on-board settings to ROTATE or FLIP the image getting encoded into the stream. I have had to do this on some Amcrest cameras that I use.

          Thanks, Robert

Thank you for the replies. Ever since I installed the camera, I have been using Blue Iris to rotate the image and never used the camera software. I was able to flip the image with the camera’s setting and all is good.

            Thank you for the help
