Alexa skill can’t authenticate
-
Checked the stats.monoclecam.com and the Alexa gateway server says 100%
Thought that may be the culprit.
I checked the gateway log but everything seemed fine there. (only checked because I seen a recent post saying api tokens were getting errors)
Thanks again!

I have the same issue. “Login Failed Please try again or contact Monocle support for assistance”
-
Same issue here. Alexa said try relinking the skill. So I did a disable, then upon trying to re-enable, my credentials won’t work.
They do work logging into the web portal however. The problem must be on Monocle’s side… -
Yeah it’s definitely something on monocle’s side, specially with their auth subdomain it would seem. Last time something like this happened it was a certificate issue but this looks to be different. Hopefully they are monitoring this forum and will resolve it quickly like last time. I’ve been using this for 5 years and this is only the second time ever they had issues. Definitely give them a day or two to fix it before giving up.

I am getting this error:

@deepbluesee same here
I use this skill almost every day, and hope it’s fixed soon!
-
FYI … Working on this issue now. It should be resolved and working again today.
Thanks, Robert

@Monocle working again now, Robert.
Thanks again!
-
Thanks for fixing it! I can now authenticate on the Alexa skill and view my cameras on my Echo Show.
-
It may be up and down throughout the day. Still working on a few improvements.
Thanks, Robert
