I’ll drink to that! I have a Dericam B2A on Blue IRIS with other cameras. The Dericam is at the front door and almost but not quite a Doorbell cam. It connects through BI to Alexa but Alexa buffers and drops after about a minute. After trying a lot of the forum BI suggestions, I tried to connect directly to the B2A via Monocle; a lot of “no joy” until I tried your suggested parameters. And Eureka! - a sold connection. I saw the “11” parm in Blue Iris but it was a mystery to me. I tried a lot of the other permutations but no luck until I added your nuggets of wisdom. Many, many thanks. Bill

or not it works now with the 2 ptz cams but still not with the unit
on the ptz ones it was the audio settings and @proxy not @tunnel
but with the mainunit still same probs

I dont think so, and looks like the support for this project is non existent, posted twice because I cant get it to work and no response at all. Sorry, we may have to find another option.

@azee2890 Were you able to connect the camera to your wireless? I’m at an apartment complex with the same situation, and even though I found the MAC address (on the back of the camera), I haven’t been successful with connecting it to the wireless. I have PC650.

I am trying to view my generic camera on Echo show. I got my rtsp stream working on VLC. My issue is that the audio format is not compatible (alaw). So I installed the gateway on my raspberry pi and it is running fine. I added tags @tunnel and @noaudio. When I ask alexa to show camera I can see the logging on gateway, however Echo show keeps saying that the camera is not responding and no picture is being shown. Any advise? What am I doing wrong?

Any guidance will be highly appreciated. :)

Hey, yeah you will need to run this on a Raspberry Pi, some of the nas devices that run docker will work too!
I got a pi kit for $200 NZD with the case heat sinks etc. I think you can get them under $75usd for the bare bones parts.
